2001

- ESF is granted land in Ma On Shan for building a new Private Independent School
- Phoenix International School operated by ESF opens on a temporary site in Cheung Sha Wan with Principal, Siu Ming Cheung

2006

- First College Development Plan 2006 is created
- Renaissance College Hong Kong opens in Ma On Shan
- Peter Kenny named Principal
- Team sports programme launched with first U-20 Volleyball game

2007

- RCHK is authorised to offer IB Diploma Programme (DP)
- RCHK is authorised to offer IB Middle-Years Programme (MYP)
- Second College Development Plan 2008-11 is created
- Secondary Office is opened in the Administration Block
- External signage erected on the school site
- Official opening of Café 1618
- Apple partners with RCHK on the delivery of learning technology programmes and innovative software development

2008

- RCHK is authorised to offer IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- Development of the entrance to the MTR station

2009

- Dr. Harry Brown named Principal
- First IBDP cohort graduates

2010

- RedDoor Centre is born from a merger of ICT and the Door (Digital Opportunities on Request) units
- LIRC (Library Information Resources Centre) is born

2012

- First Terry Fox Run at RCHK

2013

- RCHK is authorised to offer IB Career-related Programme (CP)
- New RedDoor Centre 2-storey hub is open

2014

- RedDoor Centre expands to build a team of instructional coaches

2015

- Construction on a new four-story Specialist Centre (SPC) building begins, to cater for Chinese language, art and learning enhancement needs in Primary

2018

- New Specialist Centre (SPC) building is open

2020

The majority of lessons moved to online mode due to Covid-19 pandemic

2026 and beyond

- Renaissance College Kindergarten opens on Sai Sha Road
- New Performing Arts and Visual Arts Centre to be constructed
