2001
- Phoenix International School operated by ESF opens on a temporary site in Cheung Sha Wan with Principal, Siu Ming Cheung
2006
- Renaissance College Hong Kong opens in Ma On Shan with all year levels simultaneously
- Peter Kenny appointed as founding principal
- RAPT, the Renaissance Association of Parents and Teachers, is established
- Team sports programme launched with first U-20 Volleyball game
2007
- RCHK is authorised to offer IB Middle-Years Programme (MYP)
- Second College Development Plan 2008-11 is created
- Secondary Office is open in the Administration Block
- External signage erected on the school site
- Official opening of Café 1618
- Apple partners with RCHK on the delivery of learning technology programmes and innovative software development
2008
- Development of the entrance to the MTR station
2009
- RCHK adopts the four Bedrock Principles that guide the college’s strategic and development plan
- First IBDP cohort graduates

- LIRC (Library Information Resources Centre) is born

- A multi-purpose sports pitch (aka Rugby Pitch) opens adjacent to the College, in partnership with the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union
- RedDoor Centre expands to build a team of instructional coaches
