In Years 1 to 6, Renaissance College offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) that focuses on the total growth of the developing child, touching hearts as well as minds. It meets students’ social, physical, emotional and cultural needs in addition to academic development.
Renaissance College's Years 7 to 11 follow the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). It provides a comprehensive curriculum framework of academic challenge that enables students to embrace the connections between traditional subjects and the world in which they live through the process of inquiry.
In Years 12 and 13, Renaissance College offers two pathways, the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP), to give students agency in their studies based on their learning style and aspirations, while fostering a well-rounded and global-minded outlook through leadership and community involvement.
Model United Nations (MUN), known at RCHK as RENMUN, plays and important role within RCHK and beyond and being able to participate in the expansion and growth has been a great honour. I look forward to seeing the MUN community thrive in future years and witnessing how RCHK students continue to instil change in RCHK, ESF and globally.

We joined the Student Council to take up some responsibility and contribute to our school. It has provided us with a great opportunity to work on our leadership skills.

We polished our photography skills as we learnt about other elements of photography, such as framing, perspective, simplification, and colour, and how to incorporate them to improve our shots creatively.

We have three words that symbolise us: 'Know', 'Be', and 'Do'. These words mean when we 'Know' good qualities, such as being kind, we think of ways to 'Be' kind. Then we take Action ('Do') by being helpful in class and handing out the books, and we are doing consistent and kind deeds.

[During our World of Work (WOW) Programme], apart from doing practical work, I could contemplate more about career aspirations and subject choices. It made me think about choosing psychology, psychiatry, or medicine as a possible career path. Good communication and analytical skills are some of the many skills needed for the industry.

I spent my CAS week at a social organisation that empowers adults with learning disabilities through vocational education. I observed how staff interacted with the learners, using hand signals and Makaton.

RCHK’s education has instilled in me the drive to strive for more and never settle for less, and this mentality continues to serve me well.

RCHK offers a wide range of after-school activities that everyone can participate in. It was through these opportunities that I discovered my love and passion for volleyball – the first time I touched a volleyball was during the tryouts for the volleyball team in Year 7! The teachers at RCHK were also accommodating and empathetic towards the situation of each student and taught me invaluable life lessons such as the importance of time management, teamwork, and respect.

I frequently visit the school to offer assistance in classes such as Music and Psychology. I have always felt an unbreakable connection to RCHK, and I enjoy catching up with students and teachers, as well as visiting the Music department whenever I can.

It taught me lifelong skills that no textbooks could – there were a lot of fun and challenging hands-on projects, which allowed me to connect my studies to the real world.
